This has aged like a fine wine. Every line in the script is carefully considered and moves the story along. It’s so tight—everything that gets set up gets neatly resolved then it all builds to a satisfying pay off.
The direction is slick but not showy. Soderburgh juggles many moving parts to make a coherent and easy to follow film out of a potential mess.
