The Muppet Christmas Carol

One might say that December is the foreclosure season. Harvest time for the money-lenders.
08 December 2017

A muppet-driven musical retelling of the Dickens classic, with Michael Caine as Scrooge.

Nothing will ever truly top the great Alastair Sim in Scrooge but this version manages to capture the true essence of the story in its own way too. Perhaps it’s something inherent in Dickens’ plot but The Muppet Christmas Carol sinks its hooks in and keeps you watching ‘til the end like very few other Christmas films do.

It’s warm, funny, keeps the songs to a minimum but makes them all good, and isn’t afraid to take itself seriously as things start to wrap up for poor old Scrooge.

A Christmas classic.
